Getting the Most Out of the 2018 PDTA Conference

1. Register early and tell your team.
By registering ahead of time, the team will have advanced notice to accommodate schedules and planning. PDTA members save hundreds of dollars when registering their team.

2. Plan ahead and set goals.
You’ll want to take advantage of everything the 2018 PDTA conference has to offer, so review the schedule during planning. Set educational goals with your team and know what information and training you’d like to improve upon beforehand. Think about what you’d like to accomplish and plan your schedule around meeting those goals.

3. Pack smart.
Packing light means being organized; you want to have everything you’ll need, and nothing you don’t. You might even be able to avoid checking a bag and risk losing luggage on the flight. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes, chargers/battery packs, writing materials, and business cards.

4. Ask questions and take notes.
If you’ve come all this way to learn and improve, make sure you ask questions! If you’re thinking it, it’s a guarantee that many others are, too. Furthermore, a few notes about key concepts and ideas will help you retain the most important takeaways before they fade from your memory.
