Welcome to the Pediatric Dental Team Association

Every pediatric dental practice wants a team that is confident, consistent, and working together toward the same goals. But creating that kind of team takes more than good people. It takes clear expectations, effective training, consistent systems, and strong leadership.

The Pediatric Dental Team Association was created to help pediatric dental practices build exactly that.

The PDTA provides practical training, proven systems, Practice Playbooks, leadership strategies, and ready-to-use resources designed specifically for pediatric dental practices. Together, these resources help practices standardize how things are done, strengthen communication, develop confident team members, and create exceptional experiences for patients and parents.

Whether you’re onboarding a new team member, strengthening an experienced team, improving an office system, or developing future leaders, the PDTA gives you practical tools and guidance to help your practice become stronger and more consistent.

Building Confident Teams. Standardizing Practices.

Why the PDTA Exists

After nearly five decades in pediatric dentistry, I have seen firsthand that even the best team members can struggle when expectations aren’t clear, training is inconsistent, or everyone is doing things a little differently.

Most pediatric dentists were trained to provide excellent clinical care. We weren’t necessarily taught how to train a team, develop leaders, create effective office systems, manage people, or build consistency throughout a practice. Much of that we had to learn along the way.

That’s why I created the Pediatric Dental Team Association.

I wanted pediatric dental practices to have access to the practical resources, training, and systems I wish had been available throughout my years in private practice—resources developed specifically for the unique challenges of pediatric dentistry.

Today, the PDTA brings those resources together into a comprehensive framework that helps practices establish clear expectations, standardize training and systems, strengthen communication and leadership, and give team members the tools they need to succeed.

Because when everyone understands what is expected, learns from the same foundation, and follows consistent systems, the entire practice benefits—the doctor, the team, and most importantly, the patients and families we serve.
